Who Can Benefit from Veterans’ Mental Health Treatment?
Veterans and first responders that can benefit from The Front Line include the following:
- Those who have experienced a worsening of symptoms despite individual therapy and medications and therefore need to be seen more than one time per week for stabilization and extra support.
- Those who have recently completed treatment at an inpatient facility—this is the perfect transition to ease back into everyday life.
If you or a loved one are a veteran or first responder who could benefit from this program, please reach out to The Front Line at Connections Wellness Group today.
What to Expect in The Front Line - a Veterans' and First Responder Focused Mental Health PHP/IOP?
The Front Line at Connections Wellness Group offers a combination of evidence-based therapies and holistic approaches. We work with each patient individually to devise a treatment plan that addresses specific needs and goals. Regardless of your level of care, the therapeutic approaches may include the following:
Individual Therapy
We offer weekly or biweekly individual therapy sessions, depending on your level of need.
Medications
You’ll have 1-2 psychiatric visits each week to ensure we get the medications just right—if you choose to use them.
Specialized Tracks
We have specialized tracks that focus on either trauma, substance use, worldviews, or a mixture of all three.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is 3-4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. This includes time for emotional education, skills training, and deeper processing.
Yoga, Art, and Music Therapy
These groups also use yoga, art, and music skills to work through emotions in ways that regular talk therapy can’t—all to help decompress psychologically and physiologically.
