Biography:

I was born and raised in India. Completed medical school in India and subsequently trained in psychiatry and sleep medicine here in the U.S. I have worked in hospital, clinic and telemedicine settings including for a brief period recently for the U.S Military. Some fortuitous and fulfilling clinical encounters stimulated my interest in Psychiatry in my early years of medical training and I continue to derive a great deal of satisfaction in helping my patients with various mental health problems. Besides years of education and training, I have had the privilege of learning from my patients who entrusted me with their care. It’s my firm belief that practice of medicine is not just about one heroic act but being able to provide care and kindness day in and day out to patients, who place their faith in me.
