Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her therapeutic style is influenced by CBT, DBT & mindfulness-based approaches to healing. Sarah enjoys using the technique of expressive arts when working with clients in group settings. She enjoys working in a group setting with both adolescents and their families to understand and reduce anxiety, cope with trauma, grow self-love and acceptance, structure enriching self-care practices, and explore the powerful and dynamic internal world that resides within each client. Sarah has worked closely with adolescents and their families through the Denton Juvenile Detention Center, intensive outpatient, and hospital settings. Sarah has experience working with behavioral disturbances, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide prevention, abuse, substance abuse, trauma, LGBTQIA youth acceptance and grief.
