Biography:

I chose to be a helper because I find satisfaction and enjoyment in assisting people in their struggles. I’m passionate about mental healthcare because I’ve seen first-hand the impact that it has on families and people I love. What drives me professionally is my fascination with people’s capacity for change and guiding them through that process.

• I was born on The Iron Range in Northern Minnesota and raised in the Twin Cities.
• I was a Geography Major through much of college but changed my major to counseling after experiencing some major life changes.
• I previously worked in a Texas Prison as the Assistant Director of a Therapeutic Community for incarcerated male inmates.
