Michelle specializes in working with children and adolescents alongside their parents. Michelle values the parent’s involvement in the therapeutic process and is successful in creating a strong relationship with both the parents and child. Michelle also enjoys working with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or have suffered from abuse, or any other traumatic event. Her experience in private practice, a psychiatric hospital, and Children’s Advocacy Center has expanded her knowledge, broadened my clinical experience, and has allowed her to expand the clientele and presenting issues she is able to effectively work with. Michelle’s goal is to create an environment that is welcoming, values trust, and provides support and understanding. Michelle primarily practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy, but is able to accommodate to specific needs to provide client’s with the tools necessary to complete their goals.
