Biography

As a Latina, first-generation Mexican immigrant and college graduate I have learned to embrace and acknowledge how various aspects of my cultural identity have influenced my mental health (Relevant factors; race, ethnicity, immigration status, religion, socioeconomic background, and gender identity). I appreciate that individuals are not all the same. This understanding empowers me to connect with individuals and community entities to absolve barriers for all populations.
