Biography

I’ve always been intrigued by what makes people tick, so I was naturally drawn to Psychology. I quickly learned that interacting with others face-to-face sparked much more joy than research, which led me to Counseling. I enjoy working in mental health because this field provides so many opportunities to play a role in helping others. I truly believe that the power to change and heal exists within each individual, most of us just need a little help finding that power within ourselves.

• I am a self-proclaimed birthday savant (I remember everyone’s birthday), but hate gift giving and receiving.
• I am a proud cat mom to 3 cuddly kittens.
• I’ve adopted one of my husband’s hobbies and enjoy playing disc golf with him on the weekends.
