Biography

As an immigrant to the United States, I faced various cultural, social, and economic challenges during adolescence. Working through the resulting identity confusion and dissolution for many years, I came to experience first-hand healing and growth that I now seek to share with my clients. I am eager to listen in order to discover resources already present in your life, to witness the obstacles and challenges you’ve overcome, and to tell you that your feelings and longings make sense—not through some made-up cheap words, but words born from genuine, heart-to-heart engagement!

• While an avid reader, I am pretty sure I like planning what to read more than actually reading books.
• I enjoy almost every ethnic food I’ve tried but my favorites include: Japanese, Szechuan, and Indian.
• I have practiced mindfulness meditation for years now but only recently I’ve been feeling like I am finally “getting” it.
