Biography

Let’s acknowledge the truth: we all have brains, so let’s prioritize their well-being! I’m thrilled to be part of the movement that aims to remove the stigma around mental healthcare. Since becoming an RN in 2015, I have gained diverse experience in orthopedics/trauma, women’s health, gyn-oncology and fertility care. Throughout each specialty, I saw how disparities in mental healthcare affected each person’s recovery process and in turn, sparked an inspiration to become a mental healthcare provider. Helping people has always been my utmost passion, and I consider it a privilege to be involved in each patient’s story. My mission has always been to treat others with compassion, empathy, patience and understanding, just as I would want to be treated myself. The truly rewarding part of my job is that I get to say “I am here with you”, because I recognize the significance of feeling seen and understood by your provider.

  • I have a schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) named George. You will probably learn about him at some point.
  • To unwind, I like to spend time outside, pull weeds (yes, I said pull weeds-it’s relaxing!) and watercolor.
  • I love to travel and when I was younger, I lived in Hong Kong.
