Biography:

I chose nursing because my grandmother wanted me to go to school to be a doctor, turns out, nursing is more rewarding. I’m passionate about mental health because I believe that it’s important for all of us to know that we’re not alone. We all go through tough times and learning to cope with the tough times and asking for help when it’s needed is what’s important. I enjoy caring for others and learning new things daily. Being able to meet and talk to others is what drives me to want to do and be better as a nurse.

• My name is pronounced Don e ca… but everyone loves to call me Donica as they think it rhymes with Monica. And I only know of one other person with the same name 😉
