Darren Shaing was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated Baylor’s nursing program at the Louis Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas and immediately began his career in the psychiatric field since 2014. Darren carried his passion of empowering the lives of individuals seeking greater mental and emotional well-being into various settings he has worked in including veteran, trauma, adolescent, and PICU settings. In 2019, Darren became an adjunct psychiatric clinical instructor for Baylor University’s FastBacc® nursing program in addition to his role as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Darren’s conviction in the importance of deeply listening to the needs of his clients is expressed in his warm and empathetic approach to treatment. His primary goal is to facilitate the best mental and emotional outcomes for each client with a streamlined treatment plan. Mr. Shaing’s passion is in psychiatry and looks forward to working with you or your loved one!
