Biography

I have always been fascinated with people as early as I can remember. I enjoy observing and listening to the perspectives they have formed as a result of theirpersonal and unique upbringing and experiences. As someone who has lived in many different places while growing up, I am grateful for the opportunities I had tomeet and befriend people from all over the world and learn about many diverse cultures.

My undergraduate practicum was at a domestic violence agency where I assisted survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and my second practicum wasat Connections Wellness Group. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in the mental health field with the resolve to help people realize that they aredeserving of love, dignity, and gratitude.

My goal is to help people recognize their ability to empower themselves and to create a life that is most authentic and fulfilling for them and foster a safe andencouraging space that helps nurture the growth of their unique strengths and gifts that they can share with the world. I believe that everyone is capable ofdeveloping the resilience to thrive in a world filled with hardships, and with the encouragement and support of community, we’ll always be reminded that we neverhave to face our struggles alone. We can all learn from one another, regardless of who we are, and contribute to making the world a better place in our own ways.
