Biography
I aspire to become a Licensed Professional Counselor-ideally for first generation immigrants, especially those who are able to help the Asian population. While I am still new to the mental health field, I have found that I exceed in listening to patients, being able to de-escalate situations, and create a safe space for those seeking help from our services. I am eager to learn more skills as I work towards my career!

• I am a first generation immigrant from the Philippines and I will be the second in my family to obtain a graduate degree!
• I also have a knack for anything artistic and creative. Some specific hobbies that I have done include: playing flute, sewing (I used to make costumes for my student organization’s cultural dance team), scrapbooking, calligraphy, painting, doing others’ make-up, and drawing.
• I have also made a double-ringed dreamcatcher before!I also enjoy playing card games, video games, and tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons!
