Biography

I started in the Mental Health field in 2002. Shortly after being in this field, we lost a family member to suicide. I’ve made it my mission to bring awareness of Mental Health and help people find resources based on their needs. Also, being in the Mental Health field for as long as I have been, it has helped me personally understand the dynamics surrounding Mental Health struggles and it has helped me family understand and accept differences in our large growing family. I’ve traveled in my past positions and made good friends along the way that I stay connected with to this day. I co-created a Mental Health Collaborative with Law Enforcement officers throughout Denton County, Hospital ERs and other community partners. I love connecting with people!
