Biography:

I chose this field because I wanted to give back to the community and demonstrate my skills in social sciences. I am passionate about mental healthcare because I grew up in an environment where I did not understand why a person would perform certain actions and I wanted to understand the human mind especially disorders and disabilities. Being an African American man, I wanted to break the stereotypes that are placed upon us. My professionalism is driven by the need to show people that education is a key aspect in a black man’s lifestyle.
