Seasons of Change: Evolving with the Science of Trauma Care

Authorized CEU for Therapists

Are you ready to deepen your expertise in trauma-informed care and optimize patient outcomes in intensive treatment environments?

In today’s mental health landscape, understanding and effectively treating trauma is paramount.  This free, comprehensive Continuing Education* event from Connection Wellness Group is designed to bridge the gap between groundbreaking neuroscience research and practical, impactful clinical application.

Join us to gain an unparalleled understanding of trauma’s neurobiological underpinnings and explore cutting-edge therapeutic modalities that can transform your practice.

What You Will Learn & Achieve:

Objectives: This learning opportunity is meticulously structured to provide tangible, actionable insights. Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the Neurobiological Impact: Articulate precisely how trauma profoundly affects the brain and body, and how this translates into observable clinical presentations in your patients.
  • Integrate Recent Neuroscience Research: Understand and apply the latest research findings in the neuroscience of trauma to inform your diagnostic conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Master Therapeutic Modalities: Gain a comprehensive understanding of both primary and emerging therapeutic approaches for trauma, with a specific focus on the principles and applications of:
    • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART): Explore its rapid and effective techniques for processing distressing memories.
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Learn how ACT’s principles of psychological flexibility can be powerfully applied in trauma recovery.
  • Set Realistic Treatment Goals: Develop the skills to formulate and implement precise, achievable, and clinically appropriate trauma treatment goals within the structured frameworks of treatment.

Why This CEU is Essential for Your Practice:
