Biography
I have a strong desire to help others, and I understand the importance of mental health, since I have had the experience of receiving counseling services myself at the beginning of my adulthood. I had such a positive experience with counseling and the impact it has made on my life, that I was inspired to give back to others what I received from other professionals in the counseling field. I truly enjoyed learning about the variety of counseling techniques and theories created from well known psychologists and psychotherapists. The feeling I have when I help someone grow is something fulfilling and encouraging that I am blessed to receive through the work I do. I have always wanted to find a job that I genuinely enjoy, and I was able to discover my passion by getting help myself through a difficult time in my life. Counseling gave me the courage and skills I didn’t know that I could have, and I strive to give my clients that kind of outcome as well.
- I enjoy working-out and learning to cook new healthy recipes.
- I am an animal-lover, as I have a cat and two guinea pigs.
- In my free time, I enjoy reading, journaling, and studying narcissism, addiction, and the psychology behind domestic violence victims. I desire to one day use the information I study to write a book or somehow share my information to help others going through abuse with their significant other.
