Similarly to other mental health counselors, I have known counseling to be the field I’d find myself in, early on. I have always felt honored being trusted enough to be welcomed into others’ lives. I graduated from the University of North Texas with my B.A. in Psychology, then travelled to Boston, where I completed my M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling. Shortly after obtaining my Masters, I moved back to North Texas to begin my professional career. In addition to having mental health counseling experience, I have nearly a decade of experience providing ABA therapy to kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I make it a priority to meet clients where they are at, incorporating humor, compassion, transparency, and honesty within each session. Ultimately, I have the goal of starting a non-profit organization for providing low-cost/free services to at-risk community members.
